"The Atlanta Falcons have convinced a former New Orleans Saints defensive tackle to join the good guys. The team has signed DT Tyeler Davison to a contract Black Ricardo Allen Jersey , giving them options at a position with some question marks. Davison played for the Saints for four seasons after being drafted out of Fresno St. in the fifth round of the NFL draft. Since then, he’s been a valued member of the Saints’ admittedly stout defensive front. He had two sacks, 23 tackles and a forced fumble in 2018, and should contribute right away to a Falcons interior defensive line that could use more depth. He started at nose tackle next to Sheldon Rankins last season and might just do the same in Atlanta next to Grady Jarrett. It’s always nice to steal away a good player from the arch rival, and a four-defensive tackle rotation of Grady Jarrett, Jack Crawford, Deadrin Senat and Davison should give you confidence this group will be dependable in 2019. I’ll let our friends over at Canal Street Chronicles fill us in on how Davison played for them in 2018. Getting some grit in the trenches and helping out the porous Falcons run defense had to be a priority this offseason, so Davison will make a most welcomed presence up front. Atlanta needed this type of talent in the rotation Ricardo Allen Jersey 2019 , and it makes a rival weaker. There aren’t a lot of downsides to this move, though it might make drafting a defensive tackle with the first pick less of a priority in the draft. That’s not a bad thing, considering the needs the Falcons need to address this offseason. We welcome Davison to Atlanta, and are excited to see what he’s going to bring to the table. Defensive tackle looks much better for the Falcons with him in the fold. We may have an idea of what positions the Falcons won’t have to look for in free agency."WhiteFanposts Fanshots Library FalcFans Podcast on The FalcoholicContact The FalcoholicFalcons StoriesScheduleRosterStatsYahoo Falcons NewsYahoo Falcons Team PageYahoo Falcons ReportYahoo Falcons Depth ChartYahoo Falcons TransactionsYahoo Falcons PhotosOdds About Masthead Community Guidelines StubHub 鉁旻alcons may use compensatory picks on new blocking TE, returner New,30commentsWe may have an idea of what positions the Falcons won’t have to look for in free agency. ESTShareTweetShareShareFalcons may use compensatory picks on new blocking TE, returner Trevor Ruszkowski-USA TODAY SportsThe Atlanta Falcons have a surplus of draft capital in this year’s round of picks, and we’ve got an early indicator of where those picks might go. ESPN’s Vaughn McClure reports that the team is considering using its fourth and fifth-round compensatory picks on two specific spots on the roster. This hints at two things. One Matt Bosher Jersey 2019 , the team may not bring back Logan Paulsen if this is the case. The veteran filled in admirably as a blocker, occasional pass-catcher and mentor to Austin Hooper, but they may wish to go younger and a hair cheaper here (well, maybe by like $100,000). Two, with Justin Hardy perhaps out the door, the team is moving on at its kick returner spot and wants someone to man the job who can hold it down specifically. The team has one open spot for a receiver, assuming carrying six is in the cards Black Matt Bosher Jersey , and this could be a hint the team doesn’t bring Hardy back. Part of me wants the team to angle to trade for more trench talent with one of those comp picks, but if the team has done its homework here, they may wish to infuse the roster with as much draft talent from this class as possible. That’s always the most cost-effective way to build a team, after all. So the plans slowly begin to reveal themselves for April. We’ll see what the team does to address these two spots here soon.
